Because of inclement weather, Fitchburg State University is closed Monday, Feb. 11.
Crews have been working day and night since the blizzard to clear sidewalks and parking lots on campus. As with many institutions, the amount of snow has created challenges for removal and storage. Students with cars on campus are urged to abide by emergency parking instructions and allow roads and lots to be cleared. Commuters, faculty and staff are advised to allow extra time for travel and parking because of difficult conditions.
